The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 17,000 professional women of African descent in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
Our core values are friendship, integrity, honesty, service, commitment, family relationships, courage, respect for self and others, legacy, confidentiality, responsibility, and accountability.
Globally, The Links contribute more than 1 million documented hours of community service annually by strengthening our communities and enhancing the nation through outstanding programming and five facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services and Health and Human Services.

During Women's History Month, we celebrate the courageous women who have helped our Nation build a fairer, more just society. Throughout history, the vision and achievements of powerful women have strengthened our Nation and opened the doors of opportunity wider for all of us.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This month, we recognize the importance of Mental Health Awareness Month. Let’s raise awareness surrounding those living with behavioral or mental health issues, reduce the stigma that many experience, and acknowledge the vital role mental health plays in our overall health.
Nicole Washington, DO, is honored as a recipient of the Her Story Angel Award! This award is one of the Alzheimer’s Diversity Outreach Services' newest recognitions, highlighting and celebrating women whose commitment to service and community is unwavering.
In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, the Tulsa (OK) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, partnered with Dress for Success Tulsa to spotlight Jennifer Bent, a leader who impacts communities of women in Tulsa.
