NOW ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

The Tulsa (OK) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is now accepting applications from eligible students for its 2024 Scholarship Program.

The purpose of the Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors seeking a higher education and degree. Based on merit and financial need, a limited number of scholarships will be awarded for $2,500.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants Must:

  1. Attend high school in the Tulsa, Muskogee, or Okmulgee areas.

  2. Be a high school senior with a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

  3. Identify as African American or of African descent.

  4. Have applied or been accepted to a four-year college/university or community college.

  5. Have performed community service.

  6. Be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee.

  7. Not be related to a member of the Tulsa (OK) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.

HOW TO APPLY

Type and print the scholarship application and the supporting materials. The completed application package must include the following:

  • Completed scholarship application, signed by student and parent/guardian as indicated

  • Personal Statement

  • Two letters of reference including one from the applicant’s school faculty or staff; and one from a member of the community at large

  • Official copy of high school transcript with seal
