Links Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol

Empowering Black Women and their Partners: Advocating for Maternal Health Equity.

Links members across the State of Oklahoma will visit the Capitol in Oklahoma City to present our policy agendas to elected representatives and work with them to integrate these issues into the state’s legislative priorities.

Links Day at the Capitol (LDAC) is an advocacy project that aligns with the strategic policy goals of The Links, Incorporated of working to eliminate the structural and systemic barriers that prevent full access to educational opportunities and health care for the communities we serve.

Area chapters are engaged in transformational programming that addresses a broad range of these strategic priorities including disparities in access to health care, childhood obesity, STEM education, mentoring, anti-bullying initiatives, and civic education.
